Day Wise Itinerary of the Warwan Valley Trek

On our first day, we will first drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg. After that we will head to Zojila Pass, a journey with timeless memories. Next, we will face a descent towards Dras and Kargil. Just after passing through the Indus River , We are at panikar Village.

On this day, we will start our trek journey by walking on the road that takes us to the market , which further leads us to the Panikar Nala. After crossing the bridge to this very gushed wide river. Just as we have crossed this stream , we will find a area filled with tents, this is a check post where we will do the enteries and continue the trek. After that their will be a gradual ascend to the valley. Next we will be seeing barren mountains, we have reached Chalong Nar. While going along the trials, we will be seeing tall mountains with pointy tops, as if a needle touching the sky.
Around 1:00 PM during the Warwan Lake Trek, it’s time to take a well-deserved break and enjoy lunch amidst nature. Settle down near a peaceful meadow or beside a gushing stream, refuel with packed meals, and soak in the serene Himalayan views before continuing the adventure.
By 4:00 PM, you’ll reach Post 2, a scenic rest point along the Warwan Lake Trek. Surrounded by towering peaks and alpine meadows, this stop marks significant progress on the trail. Take some time to relax, hydrate, and enjoy the stunning views before preparing for the next leg of the journey.
At 6:00 PM, arrive at Post 3, your evening halt on the Warwan Lake Trek. Nestled in a tranquil setting with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, this stop offers the perfect place to rest and unwind. Take a break, set up camp, and enjoy the peaceful ambiance as the sun begins to set over the valley.
